Romany 1,065
I like Deerhound/Greyhounds and Deerhound/Greyhound/Collie/Greyhounds there are some Deerhound/Greyhound and Deerhound/Greyhound/Collie/Greyhound on the dvd Lurcher mania you can see they are not to big for rabbits People who say they are too big for rabbits are showing their in-experience a tad...Ive never seen a big dog that couldnt take a rabbit because of its size. Ive also had a number of pure bred deerhounds that took into the high twenties at night, and had a bitch that caught 14 blue hares in one day (and they are just big rabbits) Quote Link to post

whin 463
who says there to big for rabbits but a 25 inch good well balanced dog will get the job done better than most big dogs i had a 28 inch dog and on that winter wheat they tioled sometimes if the rabbit was close to cover on the [bANNED TEXT] type of land theyll be fine ,but ive found on fast land with maybe only a turn and thye are gone big dog was always at a disadvatage at times , plus if your bolting rabbs along hedge rows 24 25 inch dog will have the upper hand mostly ,but in the big open moors and grass land were the rabbits are a little more giving a big dog will catch easy and run the nite away ,look at the dogs that one rabbiting trails working feild trails most have been colie grews or simliar ,a big 30 inch dog is ata disadvatge for good fast rabbiting land , maybe hilly land couch grass land were the rabits are easier , but what about hedge rows were you need something to go turn pick up fast in the hedge sometimes ,alot of bigger dogs dont even make aput for them cause they no there limitations ,its common sense realy Quote Link to post

chartpolski 23,149
She's slowed down hieght wise, and is now starting to fill out. I reckon another 1" or 1 1/2" will be it. I had down to a show last week to let some friends look over her, they all agreed she had good, tight feet. She'll get every chance !! Cheers. Quote Link to post
