New To Ferreting

Recommended Posts

Hey I Am New To Ferreting And Before I Get Myself Some Kits I Was Wondering A Few Things.

Do I Need To Train Them In Anyway Like How To Come Back Out Of The Rabbit Hole If So How?

How Often Should I Feed My Ferrets And What Should I feed Them?

Should I Get Hobs Or Jills?

And How Would Stop A Ferret Biting?

If Anyone Could Help It Would Greatly Appreciated.

Thanks.

i agree with long netter but no you dont need to train them to come out of the hole but i would advise u to buy a locator also u may end up having to dig the out feed the ferret food or fresh meat like rabbit no dog food or cat food because dog food or cat food is to strong for the to digest an can kill them and last but not least for working u would want a jill less digs but some people like hobs its up to u and if u hold them alot as a kit they wont bite

hope this helped but still read a book
