Hannah4181 260
He does ok . . . . . to be honest i don't get him out so much on the lamp, i tend to do a couple of hours, then i get cold and wet and go home! Best he did was 9 in an hour, but me and him much prefer day time hunting. Quote Link to post

Hannah4181 260
I do like that dog ( type ) Hannah, very much. I'm really pleased with how he's turned out. He's my first lurcher and i just wanted something small to have a bit of fun with. For me he fits that bracket perfectly, he is a born hunter, and i suppose having grown up in the countryside, surrounded by game, incredibly switched on. He is constantly looking and using his nose, will flush everything he finds and if he can catch it as well he will. He will never be a top coursing dog or a 60 a night lamper, but thats not what i need or want. He comes everywhere i go including work, never on a lead, will do as he's told, when he's told, and then if i pull over in the car, show him some game and open the window . .. he'll work his guts out for it! I do think he is just one of lifes "good dogs" though . .. in terms of his personality, i do put a hell of a lot of time into puppies, but he was chilled and biddable from the day i got him. Work wise i hope to do a bit more with him next season, he hunts everyday just walking around the farm with a good success rate, but i would like to test his capabilities a bit more. She's 22 weeks now and stands 20" tts. I don't know how much more she will grow, hopefully she still has a couple more inches in her. I'll try and get a more recent pic of her for here.
