J Darcy 5,871
IMO "Road walking" achieves little save wearing down the nails. Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
Road walking keeps the nails down.. toughens the feet. and is also good to get a dog/puppy associated with fast flowing traffic... but it cannot beat the good old hunting/free running technique ... atb stabba Quote Link to post

Guest joe ox
Road work is good but only a small piece of the puzzle, for fitness nothing beats being out there and running game Quote Link to post
whin 463
once the feilds are cut and the stubbles left , they get run 2 to 3miles a nite steady on the odd country road to ,titens them up and i like them to be up on there toes ,before run them ,for real ands once there running fit they get gallops on the beach etc ,road work does do them well to keep them fit and teached them to trot by the jeep car etc under control or push bike Quote Link to post
