Is this a chifchaf or a nightingale

I saw this earlier & would love it to be a nighingale ... but is it or is it a chiffchaff

I couldn't give you a definate answer exactly what that bird was 100% from that pic. But i can tell you 100% that it aint a Nightingale.....

thats a chiffchaff ,kay little bit of yellow on end of wings

Could be a willow warbler.......

or,like you say, a Chiff-Chaff....

 

or a wood warbler.......

 

 

 

either way, I'm pretty darn sure they won't be too many Nightingales around you.... i hear they are a little further south....

As it happens theres been a sighting only last week but you have to agree it does look like one a little bit

Well i stand corrected!!!!!!

 

Would have to see it to believe it though..... Those 'Gales are localised birds and require specialized habitats...or, so i hear...

Oh i also forgot to tell you theres been a red kite spotted up here on the 28th \march ... your to cheeky for your own good .. :laugh:
