kurtrog70 6
What do you all think of the MK2 locators? Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
If I was starting from scratch I'd go for a Mk3 . The price of second hand Mk1's is ridiculous . Can't say much about the Mk2 except I believe it was plagued with problems which is why they updated it so quickly ATB Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
I have a Mk1 and a Mk3M (magnetic switch). Since I got the Mk3M I have never used the old one again. The new one is far superior.(imo) If you go for a Mk1 you will struggle to get repairs or spares and collars are about 2 billion pounds each. Quote Link to post

wullieh 53
Both the mkt 1 and the mkt 3 are good where the mkt 3 is solid and waterproof and has a search and locate mode on them it will however only pick up mkt 3 collars, Where the mrk1 will pick up any collar, it is still a first class bit of kit but as said hard to get repairs done now. The one 8,484
Its the mk1 for me you can get the boxes fixed but no the collars but there's a guy making alternative collars so it might last a few more years till the price of mk3s come down Quote Link to post
