bullsmilk 2 Posted October 28, 2006 Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 was just wandering if you lads n lass clip your ferrets nails. ive just noticed that my ferrets front nails are quite long while the back ones are short.they have a concrete base in there court witch i thought would keep em down?????? I clip mine as well if i have no ferretone i put a tiny bit of olive oil on there tummys & as they devour it i clip away , i did there nails this afternoon & it took 2 mins no fuss & struggle Quote Link to post

socks 32,253 Posted October 31, 2006 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 (edited) how the hell does a ferrets nails stay down when they are worked hard or not ????? rabbits live in earth burrows how does mud keep nails down .... use your finger and thumb and scruff the ferret the same as you would a dog this renders them lifeless ... you can clip away to your hearts content .........
