wiehrauch hw97k or AA tx 200

Recommended Posts

wondered which is the best, the weihrauch hw97k,or the Air arms tx200 ,both underlevered air rifles and very simular but which is the overall winner ?

Cant comment on the HW97k but I had a mk2 TX200 for best part of 10 years, fantastic gun to shoot and very accurate.

cheers you two, only ave got a webley raider 10 pcp and to be honest am having a few problems with the gun,it needs a total strip down for new threads to the bolt holder on the inside of the gun,£80! .So am thinking of getting rid of the pcp and going back to spring powered air rifles but not too sure which one of these guns

thanks

btw from what ive heard about these down at the local gunshop, these gun apparentley are quiet on the heavy side ?

I'm In a similar position as you in that I'm after either of the above rifles. I've been told there both cracking rifles. The TX Is better out the box but the 97 really benefits from a strip down and a decent tuning kit.

I'm still undecided. I'm looking second hand for either but nothings come up yet. I'll probably end up modding what ever I get so I may go down the gunshop see what they have and If they want a rapid as PX.

The Pro Sport is a really good rifle Mooney.

I own a .22 calibre one and i get some fair results with mine.

If Shay puts his up for sale it would be a very good buy
