slingshot82 32
Hi, I was just wondering what pressure other people fill their rapids to, I only fill mine between 160-165bar. I find this is the sweet spot and power is consistent. I always refill every time I go out, and rarely use that many pellets. Over the chrony I fired approx 100 shots starting at my preferred fill pressure, and power was still very consistent. Filling to a higher pressure reduces power, I filled to 200bar and power was only 8-9ft.lbs, at my sweet spot (160ish bar) I am getting 11.4ft.lbs. Obviously for regulated rifles, this wouldnt be an issue. Cherrs Kyle Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
sorry kyle, i only just noticed the post mate, i fill my rapid to 190-200 bar in a 400cc bottle and this keeps around 11.5 to 11.9 foot pounds, depending on pellet, but using penetrators she seems pretty consistant to me. dont worry shay, i aint posh, i inherited her from a very good pal of mine in return for a bit of work, i promise ya!! all the best, wurz Quote Link to post

My power is ridiculously low and pretty inconsistent if i fill to 200bar. Is your rapid regulated by any chance? Kyle Quote Link to post

Kyle noy really mate, altho i normally give it a fill around about the 150 pellet mark but i hadnt noticed a drop at all. its not regulated either, just standard.i have got a slight leak coming from the inlet valve so ive gotta get her on the bench soon anyhow, but its not affecting performance, just runs the bottle down over three or four days if i forget to take it off, and i've been too lazy to fix it all the best, wurz Quote Link to post
