I have seen a few "birds-eye" lurchers over here in Ireland, and they were all in the vets getting their legs put back together or amputated

I asked this before. There is one guy on here somewhere that works a borzoi and takes it ferreting. Seems to do the job for him. Also there is a guy with a borzoi x that looks tidy.

with the purebreds i heard it was because they were used for wolves they were aggresive with small dogs dunno if thats a myth or not.

i got my mate a borzoixwhippet/greyhound 18yrs ago plus and it was ok on the rabbits but nowt else

borzios i saw in america were terrible running dogs i dont no what they are like in the uk probaly the same,tobig fine and not bred with speed stamina and baLANCE

this might upset a few folk ...but anybody who is serious into hunting would never get any kind of pure bred dog...wether it be a saluki for hares whippet for bunnies or a borzoi for what ever they are used for ...you cant beat dogs that are bred for the job....yes you will get the odd pure breed that can be very good ...but not many....thats why lads allover the country have tried every cross going until they find the right mix for the job they intend to do....
