Shadowstalker 2 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 i made one when i was 15 with my old mans welding set a couple of short lengths of 20mm box section and a few 6 inch nails, basically you need to make a rake, 1 length of box section 12 inches long, drill 5mm holes for the nails to go through so that there are about 8mm gaps between the nails. Weld all the nails in place so they dont move next make a handle mine was about 18 inches long weld this in place in the center of the comb and at 90 degrees to the nails. then hang a carrier bag over each end of the comb and hold one side of the bag on the handle to stop it swinging and comb to your hearts content, i used to pick loads this way.
