MichaelKeen 0
Hey Goin After Some Rabbits This Year For The First Time And Am Curious About What To Do With The Rabbits Fur. My Friend Simply Gives It Away And I Think This Is A Waste As You Could Make Many Things From It. Could Any One Please Tell Me How To Prepare The Fur And If Anything Special Needs To Be Done Before I Could Make Anything From It

kevin from bristol 95
i tryed a few things its getting the skin to dry supple thats the hard bit you need to get all the fatty and excess skin off before drying , i would look the process up then try a hat first ,i did gloves once but allthough warm weren't a nice fit

shushi 2
bedside rug........10 skins . five each side all pointing in neck to neck / tails all sticking outwards . square necks and bellys up with a stanley knife {cut from skin side} . stitch neck to neck and white belly to next belly . before stitching glueing down onto close woven sacking or carpet underlay backing, push tubed legs inside out and snip off leaving enough skin to cover hole and stitch down or slit leg holes and stitch or just leave them floating about on top .. all depending on how much skin is trimmed off to start with . have fun....Ray . Ideation 8,216
AYe rugs are a good one, so are slippers, hats, gloves. The girlfriend made a nice cloak once - bit impractical but quite cool.
