Deker 3,478
I have had a quiet start to the year bunny wise for several reasons, on half what I was this time last year, but I suspect things will improve! Quote Link to post
Colster 1
Last two weeks for me have been good bags to be honest, last week saw quite a few young ones around but this week was a bit strange. Last night I got 28 of which 25 were Does and 20 of them were in milk and with babies inside which would suggest they're already on their second litter and not waiting until they have weaned the first lot, maybe the harsh winter has bought about this urgency. Richie10 345
If you keep shooting them when they are pregnant or with yopung in the nest then there won't be many left. Quote Link to post

I'd guess it's down to the soil, they don't like boggy, stoney or clay rich soil. Light, loamy and sandy and you'll probably never wipe them out. Quote Link to post
Jkm 1
Same i put it down to the ground because it's really hard ground, but don't mind only go over there for charlies at least get one every time over there  Quote Link to post
masmiffy 82
Round us in Cambs its been bad only had about 5 outings with the ferts all 'season' Hadnt seen many at night out lamping either. My mate saw an article in a shooting mag about a disease, Chinese rabbit flu or summat like that, which had decimated the population round this way. Seeing a few more about now so hopefully a better year in prospect! Quote Link to post
niffkin 1
Lots around in my area in Kent, went out 4 weeks ago lamping for the first time this year. The farmer is over run by them i shot 72 then since that night i have shot 41 and 35. So i presume i have made a dent in their poopulation and the fact that they are more aware of the lamp. They will make a n appearence for you soon . Quote Link to post
