Guest bobbys back
IMHO for a running dog a small dash of Bull should be plenty, lots of lurchers kill a lot of foxes and these dogs have no bull blood at all.The only time more than a 1/4 bull comes in handy is for working with terriers.I could forgive a Bullx missing foxes through lack of speed but one that misses through lack of bottle is only good for one thing a one way walk.1/4 Bull lurchers that lack bottle should not be bred from simple.JMO. got to disagree with you there kane, those that work the 1/4 bulls 3/4 greyhounds, knows that you cant give them to much work on there own, doubled up yes,you should be able to keep them going most of the night, but if you are out on a regular basis, you need more then a 1/4 imho, and why do you think that anymore then a 1/4,is for terrier work only, i do agree with you on the 1/4,that lacks bottle, should be on a one way walk,as should all dogs be they 1/4 or 1/2, to many bullcrosses are bred from that are not up for the job, imho Quote Link to post
