Marksman 934
Hello All, What is the best distance to zero my Weihrauch HW100S (.22) at, 25 or 30 yards ? Thanks John... depends on the weight of the pellet you are using and the distances you intend to hunt to. Going off Zini's Ballistic profile he done for me I have my BSA S10 zeroed to 25M and using 14.5gr Defiants gives me the following..... First zero point is 10 m Second zero point is 25 m 10 m, aim bang on 15 m you need to apply 1 MD hold under 20 m you need to apply 1/2 MD hold under 25 m aim bang on 30 m you need to apply 3/4 MD hold over 35 m you need to apply 1.5 MD hold over 40 m you need to apply 2.5 MD hold over 45m you need to apply 3.5 MD hold over 50 m you need to apply 4.5 MD hold over This profile keeps you in the 2.5cm kill zone from 11 m to 28 m. Zini has his HW100KT set with the following profile.... zero at 25 metres with Webley Accupells at 14.3 grain need 1/2 MD at 30 m 1 MD at 35 m, 2 MD at 40 m 3 MD at 45 m 4 MD at 50 m. Hope this helps! Darryl Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Jack, Part of what you say I agree with buddy, but if you want to stay within a kill zone with a .22 pellet that tech crap will tell you your best zero distance to do that. The rest is down to practice and learning your own rifles characteristics at various ranges. Si Quote Link to post
