gringo40 13
Hi all Got my first air rifle last weekend, Theoben Rapid7 Mk1, always been a shotgun shooter untill now. My mate Jim showed me his Rapid and what it was capable of, this inspired me to get my own. I have permission to shoot on a farm locally to where I live, the farmer has a real problem with rabbits so I thought a decent air rifle might be a good solution to his problem. As I said, got my rile at the weekend so went to the farm on Sunday to give it a try. I found a spot to hide in some old out buildings, I could see a few rabbits running around but all out of range, sat there for about half an hour or so and thought none we're going to come into range. My brother called me and said he was on his way to join me, he was having no luck with the pigeons in another field. Sods law while on the phone a rabbit came and went. I thought I'd give it another 10 minutes then meet my brother. Just as I was about to leave a rabbit popped out of the hedgerow about 35 yrds in front of me, got a good head shot off. Bullseye, 1st dead rabbit. Quote Link to post
