i went today first time ive entered in a show , i let my little girl show my whippet we had a 3rd i dont mind but its a working dog show an the whippet who had first place had never seen a rabbit in its life an if it did catch hold of a rabbit it would run away with the dog in my opiniun its who you now in these shows, you can have the best dog in the world but if the judge nows the person next to you its the person next to you thats gonna walk away with the prize, i dont really mind i had a good day i met some good people an my little girl won her first rossete and the rain held off so i cant grumble really

hi the whippet your having a dig at happens to be mine hes just passed 14 month and your right so far he aint caught a rabbit but you can bet your arse he will see plenty this year and hopefully catch me a few part of the reason you didnt win in the classes was you got your little girl to take your whippet in every class puppy adult etc so maybe at the next show you will get your classes right ans she may have a better chance also telling her to turn the tears on from outside the ring so the judge would give her something didnt quite work either. better luck next time mate its only a bit of ribbon after all

i got ther at 11 an dun about 20 laps of it the dogs got bord an so did i an we was back home by 1:30 dont fink i'll b goin back 2 this 1. but the monmouth gamefair is a good day out went there last year 4 the first time an had a good day out so i sha'll be there this weekend
