Hi lads and lassers i was just wondering if any of use have read this book if so what do you think of it??thanks dean

had it for years now. makes interesting reading , but as most will say, you make your own mind up with what is fact and what is fiction with Plummer. theres loads of tales in the book about those big hauls of rats at the chicken farm, but never any pictures :hmm:

Good reading, I liked it mostly cos I had a pup out of one of the dogs featured in it. Cracking dog till the pikeys stole it! Cheers, D.

I think its one of the worst books he wrote,he was rushing to meet the deadline for this book and basically copied out of his diary in a short time ,I was supposed to get a plummer bitch lined that was standing that week and he messed me around something rotten, not a patch on some of his early stuff

Was Richard Jones (name of Plummers vet), pup was Beardie /Border 1st cross to Irish Coursing Grew (Jade). Bout '84 if I remember rightly. No digi photos obviously but might have some Kodaks I could scan. Cheers, D.
