Sidelock 10
Hello Chris, Ok Rule 1 find your dominate eye, to do this line up an out stretched finger with a point about 10 feet away ,, then in turn close each eye the dom eye wont move the alinement,,,if you have a left dom eye try closing it just before you squeese one off. Rule 2 practice your gun mounting in front of a mirror, after mounting it for a while try it with BOTH eyes closed then open them youll see how far off you are, but remember its a shot gun not a rifle you dont need to be within 1/4". Rule 3 MOST IMPORTANT, dont mount the gun as soon as you see your bird,,, slow down you have lots of time ,,,, Rule 4, I call this p[utting the muzzels on,,, Start to track the bird with the gun out of your shoulder, just point at it with the muzzels, Rule 5 As your tracking the bird bring the gun to your shoulder as you did infront of the mirror,,, now as you pull out in front the gun should slip into your shoulder the barrels should be just a blur and you tap one off. Rule 6 Dont stop the swing as you fire keep it going follow through all the way. Rule 7 This one is important too,,, Forget the shots you miss, just remember the ones you hit and keep going over the shot time and time again in your head. Rule 7 If rules 1 to 6 dont work get your ass up Birmingham and ill take you out and show you Quote Link to post
