i just put a albino ferret across my light blown and white color jill what colors do you think the kits will be.cheers

you wont get an albino with brown in it, unless you have kept records on parentage, theres no way your predict the colouring,

Kay is right there will be a mixed bag but you will prob find that atleast 75% are coloured and the rest are albino,

As fore pure albino then id say no as will have so much of the gene from its parent that it might pass onto its next litter.

dose it really matter what colour pops out, aslong as they all turn out healthy and into good workers and u have good homes ready for them.

Ferret genetics are so mixed up that even if you did keep records it'd probably be bugger all use in predicting the colour of the kits.

 

You won't get an albino 'with some brown in it' because albinism is absence of pigment. The gene that controls pigment gene expression isn't 'switched on'.

If there's pigment there, it isn't albino.

there really good workers iv used em all season and bolted loads they have never layed up.
