mole catcher 1
I cant see that it would do the pups any harm, might be a bit rich though! try watering it down a bit,3/4 milk 1/4 water should be ok. try a small amount first and if the pups are sick or get the S**ts water it down a bit more. I must add that i havent used it myself so act with caution and make sure the pups arnt suffering any adverse effects, the last thing you want is for them to dehydrate. How old are the pups? mole catcher 1
glad to hear the pups are doing well. ive found in the past that a bowl of warm lactol helps bring the mother back after a litter of pups, also great for the pups when weaning them of their mother. I use it a lot with nursing ferret jills, stops the kits bringing the jill down. not wishing to teach you to suck eggs but in case you havnt tried Lactol it comes in a tin from pet shops, costs about a fiver but is worth every penny. For dogs you put 5 scoops into a pint of warm water and 3 scoops for the ferrets. Spot on gear. Hope the mother and pups continue to do well, all the best with them
mole catcher 1
Ive given pups sma before today with no problem's but that lactol is better stuff .. ive weaned a 2 day old litter of pup's up on it after the mother got milk fever and had to have the pup's removed from her all 4 pup's thrived on it... any pup i ever get in now get's it for a couple of week's..Millet a good way to wean ferret kits is to mash up compleat ferret food with warm lactol, make it into a poridge, they love and it helps the jill return to fitness
