Guest chook
Just wait - she could have had a spot season or a silent one with out you knowing, if shes took to the deerhound side it can take longer for her to come in, my D/H is just short of 19 months and has just come in, if shes not had a proper season by the time shes two, i would just get her checked, as a just incase. amitchell 0
My D/H cross was 21 months though as Chook said she did show very slight signs and male dogs were interested(but no blood or anything else, just barely noticeable swelling) around 6 months before, so I think that was probably a 'silent season'. Was going to get her checked if she hadn't had a proper one at 2. Just waiting for the 2nd one now!
GooseyLucy 2
I've got a 19mths bitch still waiting on her first season too. No worries, some take a very long time to come in, I have never had a bitch come in earlier than 16mths and the longest I waited was just short of 2 years.
