The one 8,463
Threes a nice number fos a days work mate and a nice number to be kept together as a snipped hob might not mark up two jills as much as he would do to a single jill .You will get a ferret box off of here or try on ebay Quote Link to post
max abell 196
A box is a much better idea than a bag mate and when you get yourself some purse nets try and go for the better quality its worth spending that extra few quid go for spun poly or nylon or if you go for the plain nylon a min of 6z or 10z even better try and steer well clear of 4z nylon nets they are cheap for a reason they are rubbish Glad you enjoyed your ferreting trip and good on yer for doing a bit of research befour you end up rabbiting mad like the rest of us GOOD LUCK mate and hope you have some good sport next season Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,935
Well thank god!! Someone who is doing their homework before gettin the wee buggers,,well done mate I think the best thing you have got so far is the info on here. There are a few good book about but honestly,, Just be well prepared for their arrival and handle them as much as possible. They WILL become much more than just hunting tools and you WILL become attached to the wee blighters so i would say that you will want to get a locator before starting them at work. If you are getting a hob "done" than I would make sure you get him VASECTOMISED,,,,,not CASTRATED!!!! this will save you mucho grief at springtime. Keep the questions coming and youll learn all you need from here. This is the kind of post everyone should make before getting there ferrets Quote Link to post
