I would rather enter Susan Boyles ugly sister than vote Labour. In fact i would probably vote for Mugabe before i vote for that lying traitorous dickmouth Brown. deanflute 550
The last thing I want is Thatchers Britain all over again, Me and my family went through too much of that in the 1980's And I wouldn't wish that on anybody else, People in the mining/steel works will know what I mean. Voting consevative and getting them elected will not suddenly over turn the hunting ban over night! Nor over the coming year, It will take alot longer than that. If at all! Its propeganda to get the vote! Nobody has stopped doing what they want with their desired means of hunting, There is plenty of people on here doing everything that was pre ban so why should a change of govenment stop them or sway their vote? It wouldn't and it wont! There is more to voting than just thinking voting conserative = Hunting ban overturned! Think of the long turn
craigyboy 1,274
i cant believe theres so many labour voters on here half of em harping on about the tories taking us back into the 80s,ffs id rather go back to the 80s,than live in this politically correct, bunny hugging, big brother, over taxed, debt ridden, overcrowded shithole of a society we live in now and you go on about all the jobs lost under the tories(miners, steel etc)well whats happening now are we overun with jobs at moment, are we feck well not unless your a foriegner labour has dragged this country to its knees and that one eyed prick wants to feck off back to scotland with that other c**t darling and any right minded person who cant see the damage done by these fecking imbeciles need their heads testing, and dont even mention the hunting ban

Things change. The Tories anrn`t Thatcher anymore just like Brown is not labour anymore.
HUnter_zero 58
I don't know much about politics but what I do know is that fuel now costs £1.20 a litre. Two years ago, Mrs H_Z & I used to be able to go to Tesco and spend £50 for a weeks shopping, now it cost us £75 for a weeks shopping. Labour are 'anti' countryside period, we all know that. They also like to wrap the whole world up in cotton wool just to make sure we don't bump. More and more of my taxes go to people who can only just manage a few words of English. There are redundancies all over the place. Massive drug problems in most areas. Prisons are full to the brim. Hunting with dogs is all but banned. Shooting with pistols banned. Most people are under so much pressure to preform in their jobs, just to keep their jobs, it effects their whole way of life. God, if you want to take your kids on holiday in a school year, you could end up in prison. I can understand that hunting, shooting and fishing isn't everything but the way I look at life is that most of my time is spent working, the rest keeping my family happy with whatever is left spending time doing the things I enjoy which is shooting. So I guess it's the third most important thing in my life. All in all, I'm not sure Labour are any good at all, in fact I would say that on the face of it, if they were a fish and chip shop I would not buy their food because it just wouldn't sit right in my stomach. I'm not sure anyone else is going to be better or worse, but I doubt they could get any worse. John
TOPPER 1,809
its a fact every labour goverment runs the country down and leaves it bankrupt thats a fact that s history, this lot are typical labour control freaks , now i feel sorry for any party that gets in as they have one hell of a mess to fix if its fixable at all but whoever gets in needs to be strong and crack the whip and stand up to europe or were all doomed , last one out turn the lights off please
Nik_B 3,790
Whether you like Thatcher or not when they came in to power they were handed a shattered economy and when they left power the economy was in good shape with a positive ballence sheet. All Labour did was go on a massive spending spree benefiting from a booming global economy. Now they've spent billions of pounds they didn't have because that is their trade mark. I could understand someone not wanting the tories and even voting Liberal.
Nik_B 3,790
Lots of folk saying they would not vote Tory cause historically they gave us Thatcher. bet they`re glad they voted labour now that Brown is just as bad as her. Things change. The Tories anrn`t Thatcher anymore just like Brown is not labour anymore. She may ahve had her bad sides and most people are bitter about the unions etc but she was against printing money and wanted to keep public spending under control. In my house if I dont have money we dont spend it and the less I earn the less I spend. I don't start borrowing to keep up the lifestyle, that is what Thatcher did and exactly the oposite of what Labour are all about. They are even borrowing money now. This country has a deficit so bad that only iceland and greece (two bankrupt countries) are worse than us so the global resession alone cannot be blamed it is poor management. Right or wrong if in power now Thatcher would have cut public spending down to reduce the countries debt. That is what I would do if I got a huge pay cut and owed the bank alot of money. Labour are still spending but after the election it doesn't matter who is in power the money will dry up. It also costs the UK 1% more on bank loands than say Germany or France so our borrowing is more expensive. Deficit as a % of GDP Iceland 15.7 Greece 12.7 Britain 12.6 Ireland 12.2 United States 11.2 Spain 9.6 France 8.2 Japan 7.4 Portugal 6.7 Canada 4.8 Australia 4 Germany 3.
steveS.Yorks 161
We all know neither the Tories or Labour are any good,if they were they have both had more than enough time to make this country strong and a good place to live, greed and lies from the both of them, same old same old. The Tories have announced 7bn in cuts so we know what that means, labour are intent on giving this country away to foreigners rather than looking after their own? We need some radical party that put THIS country and its INDIGINOUS people first, labour and the tories just take turns at bleeding us dry and lining their own pockets and the pockets of who they really represent. The British people deserve better than either of them.
