BLUE'S FIRST RABBIT.

On our walk up the side of a burn this morning I noticed Blue with his head down at the side of a patch of brambles,

he seemed to be mouthing something.

 

Rabbits are in short supply where we were this morning although there are some old buries below the brambles

but it's been a long time since I saw any rabbits hopping about on the banking.

 

Blue was showing a lot of interest in whatever it was he'd got so I whistled him up and shouted for him to fetch it.

When he picked it up and started carrying it back I couldn't make out what it was, as he got closer I realised it was a rabbit,

his first and he's not 6 months untill next week.

 

 

Luckily I had my camera with me to get some snaps of his first catch, I must add that he retrieved it to hand although

i'm not sure if that was a good thing or not.

 

 

 

 

He's definately got something.

 

 

 

Half way back and i'm still not sure what it is.

 

 

 

 

No doubting now that it's a rabbit, his first.

 

 

Just to add that if any woman in the area has lost their pet rabbit it's lying up the side of the burn.
