he goes every where, only lost a nail from dew claw but often comes out of thick cover with nicks around his eyes, very durrable

Its good to know he goes in thick cover as some lads think whippet types bred for bushing dogs wont go in thick cover my mate has recently bred some springer x whippets and i will bet my bottom dollar they will enter cover.atb dell Edited by poacher3161

very nice dog that ive been trying to get a whirrier for a while now but you never see them advertised

try trawling the classifieds on the net seen couple litters advertised but normally when you want summit you cant find it lol.

cheers folks,was out with a pal and his beddys today after half hour of the dogs doing their thing we sat down on an embankment and lit up a hamlet each and started chatting nearly finished smoke when a very big bunnybeing chasedby a beddy,came legging it through gap in hedge just above us it leaped straight over us just missed 3 dogs managed to run another 10 metres then caught by lloyd. a proper hamlet moment :yes: nearly as strange as the time i stood on a badger in a dry reed bed.CP

did a greyhoundxlakeland mateing in the eighties. there is a pic of a bitch in the terrier section. in the thread FAO WELSH EDD i found the couch with the cushion off was about the right hight for the lakie. best to wait till the wifes out shopping first :thumbs:

my very first dog was a little wippit x lakeland bitch which me arlfeler bought for five pounds out exchangingmart over thirty years ago and i have to say that dog was very very speciale nose speed very clever go to ground and bay her head off soon as you tappd in bang she would lock on great topic mate and a smart team of dogs you have atb

bonus had a call this evening,the last bitch to go from the litter 18 months ago,would of loved to of kept her back as well.bloke working away more and feeling tight on the bitch,can i have her back????????/ picked her up 10 mins later. she's fitting straight back in with the pack,out in the morning see what she can do..if half as good as her brother i'll be happy..cp will put some pics up..she's identical to lloyd but 1 1/2in shorter.
