Hello All,

P**ing it down in kent, shooting off today. Gave the gun a wipe down today with my gun cloth, is it worth putting a bit of linssed oil on the new stock before taking it out ?

Thanks

John...

Hi Goaler.

Congrats on your new rifle buddy, absolutely brilliant bit of kit.

Re the oil for the stock Id say definately yes!!

Is it Walnt?

Also take the action and stock apart and give a good dose inside the stock, let it keep soaking in.

A lot of the guys use Walnut oil, I have been using CCL Gunstock oil and find it brilliant, soaks into the wood a treat.

ATB.

Bill.
