Solo races or with other dogs, sprinters or longer distances. Refreshments available. Booking in from 12pm, racing from 1pm. The Greyhound Stadium, Thornton Road, Ellesmere Port. That's about 10 minutes away from me! I didn't even know it was still open ............. Is it a regular thing Dawn? I can't run my dog this time (because he was as near dead as it possible to be last week) but would deffo be interested in going again. Are the dogs muzzled to race? Yes SS, first Sunday in every month. Its the Afghan Hound racing, but any breed is welcome, they usually out number the Afghans! You can run your dog muzzled if you wish, alone or with others, most of the Lurchers are muzzled. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
