Single Handed

Recommended Posts

I have had a couple of debates with lads over the years. Big numbers and all that jazz. But in all cases they were doubled up. If the dog can do it on its own you dont need to double up. And please lets not get into that bollocks of pest control as the lads i was talking to didnt have any permission anyway! :gunsmilie:

IMO numbers mean sweet FA if the dog has to have a partner, you can't test the dog doubled up.

Doubling up means nothing once you leave your teenage years behind. Trouble being, that mentally some of us never do... :icon_eek:

To quote a famous Bananarama hit...."It aint what you do it's the way that you do it".... :victory:

let me tell you some thing a fallow deer will cause more damage to a dog than any fox alive ,[FACT]

fallow deer are very fast ,but dont put up much of a fight ,but if a dog was to take a kick off of one it would do some damage . where a sika will fight and fight till they got nothing left ,they are more of a test for a dog

Not being funny or anything, but i have to disagree.....Red's aside, Fallow are the daddies.... :victory:

Sorry to ask a stupid thing, but i gather then if a dog has taken more than its fare share of foxs single handed, but then its OWNER decides to run it doubled up for what ever reason, including PEST CONTROL. it is no longer a single handed dog. :hmm: .Funny old game this VIRTUAL HUNTING. :whistling:

like i said on another thread no one can test there dog on numbers 3/4 nights a week like some say they do unless there out on there own or bother wid lads who dont have dogs because no one would of went wid me every other night if it was just my dog that was gonna be ran

The only dogs that could do that are the virtual dogs,The single handed ones on here that have never been bitten :clapper: .But seriously surley all any dog can do is what you put in front of it,how many people can even say they lamp rabbits 3or 4 nights a week with one dog.

I have a dog that will do them single handed, But i rarely ever go out on my own with just one dog, And we doubled our dogs up on big qaurry, But i would prefer them to be able to hanlde biting back, single handed and still run doubled up. :gunsmilie:
