Recommended Posts

Hi all, went to check on my ferts this morning and noticed the bottom hutch door slightly open and ferret gone, my little boy who's only five was messing about with his freinds where i keep the ferrets and he hasn't closed the door properly, he's devastated and so am i, she's an 11 month old polecat and she was a little topper, done really well her this season, one of the neighbours saw her running around at about 6am but was to frightned to pick her up, i'v searched high and low and also left her hutch open hoping she'l come back tonight. i'v also printed some flyers off to put out around the estate, hope i get her back. so if anybody knows of anyone or has seen a polecat in the county durham area please p m me.

my cousins ferret got out of its cage last night, a new one we built and we thought it was ferret proof, we came back to check her after going into the town and she was away, my uncle came out and said she got into the dogs and they killed her :( she wasafter her 1st season and she was starting to hunt well and we also had her served last week :(

I had a jill get out 2 days ago, she pullued the hutch door into the hutch to open it up (clever fcuker) and sods law she went to the only kennel i have where the JRT doesnt like ferrets, found her in the morning half eaten. I was gutted, Lesson learned though all doors modified so they cant be pulled in.
