Guest DogFaceKillah
granted these dogs are strong dogs and should have no problem taking vulpines single handed, the fact is these fellas are out catching foxes doubled up or not while 90 percent of this site talk about catching foxes, and never do it, and all you single handers talk alot of shit aswell ive been out with single handed dogs, and they get doubled up alot of time pure an simply to catch foxes, weve all done it Quote Link to post

hedz31 1,308
i know a bloke local that has dogs from there breeding, ive never seen the dogs run to be honest but ive heard of lads there fair dogs not sure if there doubled up or single dogs i never really asked but i trust the lads opinions that told me,i do know that the chap that has these dogs from there breeding bumped into us a few years ago (pre ban) he was walking one of his dogs with a mutual friend while we were digging we broke through and the chap was asked if he wanted to use this dog to despatch the fox,the terrier was removed and the dog went in the fox struck it straight away the dog came out like a lightning bolt and would not go back and that was that, not seen the dvd though wouldnt mind a glance at it regards hedz Quote Link to post
Guest DogFaceKillah
the fact is alot of people will slate these fellas doubling up, the people who do will drive feilds, and to me that single dog out the window is a single handed dog, but the jeep is the other dog, an also plays a HUGE part in the catching of these foxes for these single handed dogs Quote Link to post
Taffybull 48
i completley agree Quote Link to post
Taffybull 48
genuine question hear, So do poeple really think that by running dogs doubled, that the dogs that are doubled are less ov a dog then if it was to be used single handed? get a grip lads, dogs are run doubled simple fact ov you wil have a higher catch rate. 2 dogs SLIPED got more chance ov catching, then a dog run solo. when 1 dog over runs a bend, thers allways a second dog that will(most ov the time) stick on the quarry. wher as if it wer running solo, it would have alot ov ground to make up by its self. (walking) not in motor.?? Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
But when youse all see a dog for sale.. the first question is... is it single handed... what would you rather have.. a doubled up dog or a single handed dog.. i know which 1 id have.. if they aint single handed.. or more to the point.. capable of single handed foxing.. then they are second rate imo.. that goes for all quarry pre ban.. atb stabba Quote Link to post
stanley 5
wats the dvd like been told it pooh  Quote Link to post
