Attack Fell Terrier 864 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Share Posted March 31, 2010 I personally wait until they're around 18 month - 2 years old before I allow them to go to ground, but I take them out when they're younger to see the other terriers work, and let them have a rag on the carcass once it's been dispatched of. MAIN MAN 277 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Share Posted March 31, 2010 I personally wait until they're around 18 month - 2 years old before I allow them to go to ground, but I take them out when they're younger to see the other terriers work, and let them have a rag on the carcass once it's been dispatched of. Regards Connor all pups r different there is no sett age,i would normally ave my pups travelling empty burrows from around 10 months them let them c plenty of action but dont let them in on it till u think ther not pups anymore,i have dug pups as young as 12/14 months old but on the other hand ive had dogs that havent done anything until they were 2 an a half its all about knowing when ur pup is ready Quote Link to post
