steveS.Yorks 161 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Share Posted April 6, 2010 We probably arent that different turnout,ive got mates/family who have/do keeper,and im no field driving chav,dont agree with any of that shit,theres good and bad on both sides,its just a hobby to me now im no more than a bit of a nuisance to the local keepers,we supposedly had an agreement with the shoot owner,his keeper didnt honour it,maybe thats why im grumpy about keepers at the moment. mC HULL 12,172 Posted April 6, 2010 Report Share Posted April 6, 2010 tomo i disagree with out at weekends at nite the local police are busy in towns to come out in the country side were during the week ,they are quiter , been tried and tested ,shows you what you no mate ,during the week the local contabulary are not to busy , weekends they are busy with pubs etc keepers have shoot days on saturdays , ille say no more don/t no about you mate but whenive been caught lamping it's always been by a pigs from a village never from yhe town im in if you get reported they come regardless what day or time back on topic i dont agree with some there was six coursing at dinnertime they deserve it ifyou have mates who course you go out to see whichg dog is best on the day and whatever happened to going out at first light and coursing mosta the day plus you want to run hares most places with plenty of hares with mostly be on top if you walk the fields in daylight and get seen more than likely the old be will come its a chance you have to take to course hares Link to post

Theres nothing left now,the new keepers given out permission like confetty,loads of lamp/rifle,some dont even pick them up,pure vandalism imo. Link to post

I had terriers for a long time but gave up a while ago,just into having a mooch with the lurchers/spaniels with my lads and mates,do a bit of ferreting now and again,just into being out with the dogs in good company and seeing the odd bit of sport.
