lamping kits

hi all,

i'm looking for a cheap lamping kit for under £50. it needs to meet 2 criteria:

1. i would like a battery powered, not rechargeable one.

2. i would like a fairly high beam rate sutable for lamping bunnys from a vehicle or on foot.

any suggestions?

Hi Aaron,

 

Your asking a lot there buddy

 

I use an Ultrafire Cree LED based torch on my rifle. Cost me less than £20. But it uses the CR123 Batts, that are expensive to buy unless you use the rechargable ones.

Its a great little unit really. Tried the Tesco one but was sooo disapointed with it in the field.

 

I am planning on getting a 6 volt motorcycle battery and hooking that up to the cree torch in the future along with a red led bulb unit

I use the FX Verminator at the minute, also bought a cheap battery charger with six RCR123 batteries with it, good for a couple of hours lamping, think the whole lot cost £45

Sorry about the late reply Aaron, just seen this, I use one of these, it has a nice beam at airgun distances, batteries dont last long, but if you look on Ebay you can pick up a charger and six batteries for £20.

stick to the torches mate, u wont go far wrong. i use a ledray and there plenty good enough for 50yards. might not look much when your just shining, but put your eye to your scope and its crystal clear

My mistake also, I meant X-Verminator The torch is good with eyes up to about fifty yards, but I only use it at around 30 yards at night, I do ok with it, and its light, no motorcyle battery to carry across the county

Tiablo A9!! 250 meter beam from Inova Tech. You can get it on ebay from time to time alot cheaper. Its an awsome bit of kit. Cluson have just brought a simaler tourch out, cluson masterlite!!
