I know LDR has said he will not do another comp, but I for one recon he should!

The majority of people who actually entered, and ran in either or both, enjoyed it, the majority of

forum members have enjoyed following it, and just a small hand full of numpties have made

hard work of what is actually just a bit of fun, and a way to run new land, and meet a few

like minded folk along the way.

 

Learn as you go and all that. Make a few changes, and get another one underway LDR, you know you should, I mean FFS you did actually win both

I can't be entering one run by a complete whinging fanny.

 

LDR has done a good job with both the ones he has run, and things can only get better IMHO

 

I would suggest a couple of rule changes, no north south divide, as if you are not interested in traveling, its prob not for you, even with a north south divide.

 

Start getting people to sign up earlier.

 

Have enforced cut off dates, for when rounds need running by.

 

I would even suggest running the more traditional best of 3 or best of 5, as that's how its mainly run around here, and it

would stop this endless crap of "that's a long way to go for so few rabbits" type thing, which came up in the majority of heats this year.

 

These big number pics every one wants are also all nighter's, with lots of driving, on well known land, and with less people on the field, and less talking while walking and so on

 

It should not always be about numbers, as we all know a lot of these huge number photos are not the entire truth all the time.

Some of course are true, but i would say an equal amount are the ones you ferreted the day before are also present in the pic

 

and thats about it, other than that, I think the rules were spot on.

I'd say its unlikely at the minute mate that i'll be doing another one...... ........what with all the shit on here from the pricks with too much to say, then add onto that the endless threats i've had via text messages i cant really be arsed with it!!!! it's more of a headache than people can believe, as whin will find out if he has the longevity to see it through running his super comp....... .......If anything is done for the next season it'll almost certainly be a private invite only affair that'll be kept off the forum till its completed....... ........if someone wants to take up the reins for next season, then give me a shout, i'll be happy to go through some of the problems encountered behind the scenes so to speak!!!!

I can't speak for LDR, but if next years comp goes ahead, you'll be in the frame; unlike the arsehole with a 1000 names who is still trying to ruin it !! LOL !! It WILL be invite only, to keep the JACKERS and WHINgers out !!

Would cut out a lot of the chaff.

Always wanted to run in this comp just for the craic more than anything else but Roo's just not a good enough rabbiter and the land I've won't supply the runs necessary for two dogs.
