Any British Airway workers?

Recommended Posts

the problem with the BA strike is they cant see there on a hiding to nothing the more they strike the more it cost BA so the number crunchers then start looking at cost saving less planes, less safety and less cabin crew lot of redundancys and to take it all the way no more BA sold to virgin for a nominal fee £1

this could be new labours version of the miners strike

You're not wrong. Yet again the employees are suffering because of the employers incompetence.

Virgin at least would know how to run it properly so the analagy with the miners strike not quite there.......Good attempt tho' Tops!

I cant imagine that BA is such a bad company to work for and I'll bet the money is half decent. I don't think they can be compared with miners who worked for low wages for a national company and in a dangerous environment.

I'll bet BA staff get decent wages and pension and a pretty cushy working environment. Far better conditions than most people.

Cabin Crew Wages

I recon over 30 grand for serving drinks is bloody good money. I was earning less than that working 14 hour days in the Sahara desert, Algeria. The conditions were horrible, food barely eddible and not much in the way of safety.

Nik,

nowt preventing you applying!

Mind you the sight of you in a tailored skirt blouse high heels and stockings is probably not an image that would encourage me to fly!...............This could start a new thread.....but probably not on this site, unless its hunting beaver!
