Beastmaster1980 40
Hello, has anyone ever given their ferrets the "Jill Jab" and what are their opinions/experiences of it? Any side effects etc as i am thinking of getting my 2 Jills jabbed for their first season then getting a vasectomised hob & do it the natural way from then on. Thanks, Rich Quote Link to post
wullieh 53
The only side effects i know off is phantom preg but you will get that with a Vas hob too, did hear of a jill taken a bad reaction to the jab but think the person was telling porky's as they were a known story teller. But nice to see you looking after the ferrets welfare and not letting them stay in season. Quote Link to post

longnetter 32
I did hear some stories of jills reacting badly to the jill jab . But I think it was down to the vet not wieghing the jill or at least not estimating its wieght and just giving it the full dose . The size of the dose, I believe, is measured according to the wieght of the animal . ATB Quote Link to post
