RicW 67
There is a proposal to move to BST in winter and BST + 1hr in summer. Dark mornings, long light evenings. It's an administrative change so it could go through whatever the election result. Any opinions? I'm guessing the Scots will hate it but night hunters will like it. Malt 379
I'm in favour of scrapping BST altogether! :yes; It was brought in to give the farmers more light during WW1, but there's no need for it now with modern agricultural practices. I seem to run much better on standard GMT!
RicW 67
That confirms something I've noticed before. You were born in October and prefer GMT. I was born in June and prefer BST. I find this is the case for most people. Ric
