poacher3161 1,766
whats the dogs catching ability feet like for coursing or general hunting ,is he hardy ,etc, whats the dogs wind like thtas the things you want to be looking for not eh he won a race ,have you seen the dog work etc Totally agree Shes 21" and 27lbs, feet have generally been good with regards to getting knocked up when running on rough ground - She retrives live to hand on rabbits & has now doubled up on everything else ( shot and retrieved ) She has got v.good stamina over a period of time/day - but burns quickly on long runs. He does throw pups with very good feet in fact some have to be seen to be believed and like a lot of dogs of this breeding their stamina will burn up quikly on long runs but for short runs their recovery rate is very good a lot better than any 3 quarter greyhound bred dog i have owned Quote Link to post

Hes a retired raceing champion and is at stud for people who wish to use that type of dog over their bitches if they so choose as he does throw heart and speed into his offspring i know its not everything but some people are happy with that type of dog.
