Ive looked at the picures and the deer seem to be in the process of beeing prepared for the game larder, i assume that the deer were left due to the lads being rumbeled... Either way, doesnt look good in the eye of the public. We must ALL do what we can to promote legitimate (regardless of legal status) lurcher and terrier work and push out the scum that are a cancer on our sport. Quote Link to post

The deer in your photo's are bucks(male) so i'm puzzelled as to how they could be pregant? also, damp rainy weather strengthens the scent on the ground and in the air for animals NOT weakens it as you state. I would also think, if the meat is to be sold on, you would not allow your dogs to "tear it to pieces", tho this also can be seen to be untrue from your pics as these deer have clearly been butchered and prepared by mans hand and not a dogs jaws. It seem, on a whole, this article is yet another act of sensationalism designed to make all who hunt with dogs look like blood thirsty animals, and with the lack of any real evidence for your case you simply make it up. how about, just for once, you put up an unbiased, factual account up and let the public make up thier own minds. everything in life, hunting included attracts it's share of idiots, but thier usally the minority...
