just read the news of the world there and theve got a bit in the crime scene page now on lurchers and terrier gangs hunting roe deer and badger. we all know this is illegal but its another downfall for our type of dogs. its got two lurchers on the front fighting with each other. ave hardly ever seen two lurchers fighting in my years hunting. there painting a bad picture for lurchers and sayin there devil dogs. they say the the gangs strike at night time with bright lamps. it wont be long till we wont be able to go out the street before getting pulled by the police its obv that theve caught some amatuers at it and they tarred the rest with the same brush. have a read at it.

Its the worse paper in the world would not have it under my roof the b*****ds.Hunting is going till get harder and hared if there iss f**k all done soon there 1000s off terriers and luchers in pounds all over the country but can tell yea 2 that wont be in a pound mine but most say there dirt anyway and should be in a pound :clapper:

I've said it ever since the hunting ban, the day is coming when we'll be looked upon in the same light as badger baiter's in the eyes of the general public. nothing wrong with poaching the odd rabbit, its just something i have to to do because i cant get much permission with my lurcher

am not against against any lurcher or terrier men, i would hate myself if that was the case, a love hunting and hate the ban but just media like this will just see our type of hunting come to a end or we will just get hounded all our days

A young lad was arrested and is being prosecuted for walking down his own street with a lurcher and lamp and not having any written permission on him,so its already happening round here.

I dont know mate but its true they arrested the lad and are chargeing him,its a village between Doncaster and Rotherham and the cops have hit this area hard and arrested a lot of people for field driving and lamping,basically theyve done it to themselves and brought it down on all of us in this area

 

Maybe its the same as being found wandering about with a crowbar at 2am and being done for "going equipped"?
