Coneytrappr 30
I would only seperate at 10 weeks or later. Anyway, selecting 'the very best' out of a litter that you have trialed as workers to keep back and selling on the ones that aren't the very best from that litter doesn't mean that you are just shifting rubbish. For all you know 'the worst' out of that litter may be ten times better at bolting rabbits than 'the best' out of another person's line. Of course you keep the best back to further your line. That's just common sense! Six weeks....WAY to young! Quote Link to post

"if your worst is 10 times better than another persons line" Well common sense says that they should nt be breeding from inferior workers it gets said often enough DONT BREED IF YOU CAN GET BETTER STOCK THAN YOU HAVE Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post

With so many ferrets about it is so easy to hold out and find really, really top notch stock. Unfortunately, there will always be muppets who value colour over working ability, or who breed just because they can. It does my head in! Quote Link to post
