could anyone tell me about the prices of sound moderators for the following calibres .223/.222 and the best any info much appreciated

your looking at about £200 for one of the cheapest ones

I use a ASE UTRA 6INCHES LONG .Small and compacted 300pound vgood for shooting out of the truck.I did have a T4 ASE UTRA WINS HANDS DOWN.

....up to near the £500 mark I hear for some...don't forget potential fitting costs as well.

 

The best will be the one everyone has fitted on their own rifle

 

I like the Predator 8 Compact for a whole load of reasons, others will favour whatever, as for "is it the best?"..it offers a package I can live with at the moment so I guess it is for ME!

well put. quicksilver moderator £530,titianium very light but the price of decent rifle or scope for a piece of kit that wont ever make your gun sound like a moded rimfire?all I would say is get 1 that is easy to strip to clean & you can swap the baffles around for different calibre
