Kay 3,709
just a question any way i can tell if a jill is pregnant before the day she gives birth reason been ive had 2 hobs and a jill dumped on my door step have seperated the jill but just wanted to know if theres any way of telling if shes already pregnant i would assume if the jill/s arnt in season then its a strong possibility .. just allow 6 weeks from now & see what happens ... hopefully they wont be & have yet come into season Quote Link to post
mickteesside 1
forgot to mention the jill is very swollen at the back so shes in season but as i dont have any back ground on them if they have been kept together i dont know dont really understand it as there very healthy ferrets and very tame Quote Link to post
Quixote 9
Not really mate. If she's imminent though, she'll be going daft nesting. Bit early for that though, I would've thought? I guess you must have reason to think they've been kept paired-up? If the hob's entire there's a chance he's had a go at her already (I reckon he's unlikely to have been vas'd if the wanker who owned them has just dumped them on you) If the jill's receptive, he'll be doing his nut in trying to get to her, & won't give her peace. Is the jill showing any signs of being ragged yet? If she's in full-season her ladybits will be very swollen & wet..............and if the hob's had a go you'll probably still see marks on the back of her neck, too. Quote Link to post
Quixote 9
Just read your last post. If she's showing signs of ragging, there's every chance the hob's been at her mate. If the back of her neck's really raw & wet-looking, there's every chance the hob's been at her. Bloody decent of you to take them in, mate Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
At least they have a decent home now. Yer if she stays swollen it aint been done yet, if she comes out of season pretty quick shes probs been mated and you cant tell until she starts to nest or looks fit to burst! Also does she have a marked neck? Are the hobs balls out? Jai. Quote Link to post
