Tail Docking

Just wondering if anyone knew of a vets who will dock a litter of terriers tails in west yorkshire, Leeds/Bradford area would be ideal.

 

Can find a few that will do Spaniels tails but are reluctant to do a terrier?

 

Any information would be appreciated.

why not a terrier? can you prove they are working terriers? all you will need is a shotgun or firearms ticket.failing that,a letter from a keeper will do it.

hey Nell.... my vet in wetherby west yorkshire will do them for you,,,, £30 a pup i think... you need a shotgun cert and or letter of permission... can PM you details if near enough for you mate...

cut em yourselves,if your worried about rspca w**kers just don't say it to anybody and they'll never know.it's a simple simple job and doesn't need a vet,the vets are robbing ye with the prices they charge anyway.

one of my mates said the greyhound vet at askern dog track does them mate tenner each if that helps

Thanks for the comments guys but I'm not a newby to all of this, I used to dock my own pups all of the time, just cant be bothered with the hassle when it comes to selling any spare pups.

let them go to people you know and you dont get any hassle mate.ive got litter on the way and wont pay any vets bills because they will be staying here or going to people i can trust.hope you get sorted out .

i was gunna say that. Make sure you can trust who they go to and dont pay any vet for it. The guy i got my bitch from did this but gave one to some dopey cow with a big mouth from the village and ended up getting shafted by the RSPCA for it
