Variation mistake?

As stated ive just put in for a variation for .17hmr i have already got a 22rf and 223 just wanted something for the longer range rabbits and vermin without costing the earth,The problem is im not sure ive given a good enough reason for a silncer in section B 19 when you state what you need and why, ive put i need a sound moderator for ear protection just hope they will accept it the rest of the details done ok i hope been a while since i filled out the forms,its been nearly 2 weeks and ive not heard any reply hope all is well.

I put hearing protection down for my mod on . 17 hmr , the FEO didnt even discuss it just passed it all ok

Nice one thanks for the replies so quick, as said ive not had to do the paperwork for a while and i think thats what i said the mod was for last time fingers crossed for the next few weeks now.

They cant refuse you or anyone else for a Sound Moderator if you have stated hearing protection, it comes under HEALTH & SAFETY rule.

I just put Vermin down on mine, same reason I put for the rifle. Passed it without comment

I seem to remember not giving any reasons for mods. I just put Rifle + Moderator in the box rather than two seperate entries, and then reasons for rifle. I wouldn't worry, these thing take a bit of time don't they.

Have you got a mod on the .22rf and .223???? What reason did you state for that??

i just put down that i wanted to keep the noise in the area i shoot over down. as i didnt want it bothering the surounding houses and farms

There should not be a problem anyway, but if you already have mods on a lower and higher calibre I don't see any issues at all!!
