my only concern would be that if hare are that proliferous then they will become ill(cokzidien,ebhs etc etc)

it may be worth trying to relocate some (do you need a permit for hare??).

may be worth looking into(and making sure the press get hold of it,some postive news for the hunting men for once )

 

you lads are lucky you can still course the hare over there,don't let them take it away lads

Its great to see them, their travelling this time of the year, mad march hare ect..

Just a word of warning folks, the hare is out of season at the moment in southern Ireland and can only, be coursed in season by a permit by the coursing clubs with greyhounds, not anyone with lurchers unfortunately..

its like that where i live. stick the lamp on and there 5 or 6 hares in the one park. during the day its just as good. they sit clamped till your about 10 yards away from them. hare city

Only good if your dogs a donkey!!! Why would you want to get within 10 yards only to let the lurcher watch it running 90 yards before you slip??? Ohhhhh right..... I see
