one of my albino hobs used to have that, they were real dark brown in colour and close to the eye. never knew why he had them but didnt seem to bother him.

Probably just glandular activity, lads. Ferrets secrete all sorts of stuff, at differant times of the year, and it (obviously) tends to show in the fur.

 

I wouldn't worry about it
