madgerboy 11
he only sold it to me because im a mate, we are closer than blood family, hes an old school terrier man. dog is working well, hes gonna be as good as his sire and his sire is unreal. anyone in the north should know these dogs, sire is sam, dam is scruffy- litter sister to tara. and no;- im not going to name- names if you know who im talking about pm me, dont post it! AND WHY ""SHOULD"" ANYONE IN THE NORTH KNOW OF THESE DOGS? CHOCOLATE COLOURED?? 6 BITCHES?? 20 MONTHS OLD AND WANTING TO BREED? OLD SCHOOL TERRIERMAN??? WHY LOOK FOR A BITCH OUTSIDE HIS YARD? Cg,we ve chatted via pm and ye seem like a nice person so don t take this wrong.1.old nuttal stuff is mostly smooth black/bronze?if your mate doesn t know your plans and he has a high standard don't breed your dog to any bitch for another 3/4seasons as the close relationship may go tits up.you ve got a 20month dog at the end of the season?Good reason why and if ye don't know ye will next season.another thing is most lads would agree that digging to a "hard"dog is not as enjoyable as some think, the pressures on you to get your dog extra quick.and as you'll find out good bitches aren t easy to come by and your mate prob won t want outside blood.there's lots of reasons and your intentions are commendable but there's more reasons not to pursue your plan than there are to pursue it. YOU SOUND LIKE A WALTER MITTY. Edited March 26, 2010 by madgerboy Quote Link to post
madgerboy 11
Ps not sure how that walter Mitty thing ended my post, don't even know who walter Mitty is lol.I know your quite knowledgable in other areas but this plan is all wrong.no offence.I'd say if ye where lucky enough to find even 2 litters of your mates bloodlines being flashed around will not help your relationship Edited March 26, 2010 by madgerboy Quote Link to post
jimmy100 48
to get 2 bitches in total, this dog is superior to many offered for stud here. i will probably keep on the "picks" for a couple of months and then keep the best 2! there is also the chance there may not be a bitch in a litter etc, murphys law! what a load of bollox saying that dog at 20months is superior to many offered to stud here is an insult to the lads who have worked a dog for years and offered people THE CHANCE to use their dogs! a stud dog is only as good as its offspring and should have worked well for years and have a good few pups off him that are working well before he should up for stud. infact the best stud dogs are more than likely not even on this site Quote Link to post
blackdogs no 1 24
if it was about ££££ i would mate him to as many bitches as possible, and i wouldnt give a damm what they looked like! i didnt say i was going to mate him to 6 bitches; i said less than half a dozen, i prob wont end up mating the dog to half that amount, im just leaving myself room for mismatings or other complications like; no bitches in a litter etc. Bud you cant get out of it. There is absolutely no need to mate it to more than one bitch, if any at all. If the first mating isnt successfull, the dog is still very young (far too young imo). FTB Blaming it on the dog already! ive seen a lot of bitches with problems that result in mismatings, takes 2 animals to breed! What exactly is it you are wanting - two bitch pups, yes? Put the dog to the best bitch you can find like any normal- non money orientated dogman would do(chances are you will get your two bitches from one litter). If your looking to make money from a 20 month old dog then i sincerely hope you dont. FTB ome season n u want to put the dog out for stud three or four seasons for me bud Quote Link to post
