murphymax 9
GO FOR IT MATE, you were born with a built in water proof covering, YOUR SKIN, its a B@st@rd though when your clothes get wet Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
i've done it before, but if it's pissing down I opt to stay in - saves me a whole load of time cleaning kit, too. Quote Link to post
comanche 3,032
Its worth it If there is something to shoot -and there often is - but since going four-eyed with age anything more than a drizzle tends to keep me indoors. Looking through a wet scope via wet glasses really does make hard work of things ! Otherwise go for it . You won't know till you've tried . Quote Link to post
peeps_76 17
i have from landys etc for rabbits many times with some great results if its just light like drizzle. not so good if the rains heavy. give it a try over a few senssions you will soon know. with the winter we have just passed the rabbits up my bits seem to be out in every weather at the mo. regards p Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Mixed results can be had during inclement weather depending on the specific circumstances. But taking everything into account I do my best to stay clear of the rains and strong winds. Snow, frost, mist/fog (especially lamping) and very hot or dry weather also have issues. Not often we get the perfect day in this country, so most days tend to be a compromise! Quote Link to post
clint 45
It a waste of time, you ask ,so you not sure also..you only same as animal,it normal. animal think also, i no get wet, i stay cold. when is windy ,is ok. when is cold, is ok, just put pullover on. when is hot is ok, take pullover off But when is wet & rain, you get wet !! No option, cold & wet. No stupid animal do this, always shelter Unless very hungry Quote Link to post
Berriow Bill 0
I had a few go's just to see whether it was worth it last year but decided against the idea. A few people I know just shoot from land rovers which seems better. Quote Link to post
